What’s cookin’? Hamburgers and fries by Jake
Few dinners call to me like hamburgers from our own Wild Edge grass fed beef served with fresh homegrown potatoes. Especially when I’m the chef. I love it when my parents let me cook dinner! Here’s what I did this time. I started with some Wild Edge beef patties that I’d pulled out of the freezer the night before and dropped them onto a hot skillet. I asked Mom to peel and slice the potatoes while Dad got a pot heating with oil for the French fries. Mom also added some lettuce from our greenhouse and pickles from last year’s cucumbers to the onion, cheese and buns. It was a good team effort, and it tasted great!
